English Experience Bed And Breakfast

Your hosts, Ron Baker and Melanie Hart, arrived in Canada, from England, in November 2008.

We made Malden, New Brunswick our home.

Since then we have renovated the house. It is a beautiful 19th century home, originally built by the Hennesy family as a fox ranch circa 1875.

It has been tastefully upgraded to retain the old, while enhancing with modern facilities. Our accomadation is all en-suite.

There are around 25 acres of land for your enjoyment. This reaches down to the Trans Canada Trail, which is ideal for walking and cycling. During the winter it provides wonderful snow shoeing, cross country skiing and snow mobiling.

We welcome bikers and cyclists. We have a secure barn for your treasured bikes.

We have planted a new orchard and are in the process of making wild life ponds. It is our privilege to work with Mother Nature.

Also this season we have planted over 500 trees to help with our effort to make our little bit of Canada more wild life friendly.

In the jams we serve with our three course breakfast you will see we use home-grown fruit. All we add is sugar, lemon juice (as pectin) and water. You'll find no 'nasties' in our jam.

We also make our own chutneys. These are made from ingredients grown here at The English Experience, or are locally sourced.
