Come and experience one of Somerset's best kept secrets!

Dating back over 500 years, this superb B&B with its relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and welcoming hosts, is set in one of the most beautiful areas of south Somerset near the lovely old market town of Ilminster. This delightful thatched stone cottage offers guests every comfort with touches of luxury, and presents ideal accommodation for the discerning visitor exploring the beautiful counties in the South West.

Open under the National Garden Scheme, the lovely one acre cottage garden has superb panoramic views from the Quantocks to Glastonbury Tor and the Mendips. An excellent area for walking and cycling, and for bird watching on the Somerset Levels and RSPB Reserves.

The two double bedrooms are very comfortable and tastefully furnished with views over the garden. The Medieval en-suite double has a kingsize bed whilst the SuperKing/Twin, in its own wing, has a private and generous shower room. Both rooms have full beverage making facilities.

The tariff for both double bedrooms (based on two people sharing) is £85.00 per night, inclusive of our delicious locally sourced breakfast.
Single occupancy of double room by arrangement. Please see our Booking Page for details

There is wireless internet access, plenty of private parking and a lock-up garage available for cycles. The cosy sitting room has Freesat TV/DVD, beams, bake oven and wood burning stove.

The National Trust property of 'Barrington Court' is in the neighbouring village and the historic houses of Montecute, Lytes Cary, Cothay Manor, Mapperton and Forde Abbey, together with the beautiful gardens of Tintinhull, Hestercombe and East Lambrook Manor are all just a short drive away.
Nearby Dillington House stages regular concerts and educational courses.
