The Stables Kings Ripton

Manor Farm House is thought to have originally been a Georgian Hunting Lodge and was built between 250-300 years ago. When one of the farmhouses on the land burnt to the ground the family and farm workers were transferred into the lodge. The same family operated Manor Farm from the lodge for over 150 years until 2009 when the current owners, Simon and Selina Parsons, bought the house. The arable farm is still operated from the farm buildings on the other side of the village road.

After renovating the Farm House we decided to convert the former stables into 2 holiday lets / guest rooms. Work started in 2012 and after a lot of redesigning and hard graft we are finally there! Each of the en-suite rooms has views over the beautiful agricultural farm land of the Abbots Ripton Estate. The views change with the crops and seasons but in the evenings as dusk sets in it is a wonderful view to take in whilst sipping a lovely cold wine.
You need not worry about the previous inhabitants of the stables as they have now been happily re-homed in the paddocks at the front of the farmhouse. When you come to stay you are welcome to meet 'Assisi", our friendly Mare, and 'Rocky' our cute and cuddly donkey foal (although as you will see from the photo he is not so small now!). They love the attention.
