Ideally located with the best of both worlds, set in a picturesque country side on the banks of the peaceful River Flesk and yet minutes away from down town Killarney. Close to world famous local attractions such as Killarney’s National Park and it’s beautiful lakes and mountains where Red Deer roam freely, Muckross House built in 1843, a magnificent Victorian Mansion, surrounded by a spectacular collection of rhododendrons and rockery.
Muckross traditional farm close to the recently restored 15th century Ross Castle on the shores of Killarney’s Lough Lein open to visitors, with excellent guided tours. Close to Ireland’s most scenic glacial valley, Gap Of Dunloe, near Kate Kearney’s Cottage, also Torc Waterfall, Ladies View, Moll’s Gap and Muckross Abbey from 1448 to St. Mary’s Cathedral from 1855.
