Beselare is located 15 minutes driving from Ypres and a stone's throw from Passchendaele. You can reach The Polygon Woods, a remnant of a real forest, on foot following the witches path (Heksepad) that swings around our house. A little further you can enjoy a walk in the Gasthuisbossen, where occasionally deer still are spotted, and where, it is said, the last stream of drinking water in West Flanders flows. Beselare is the beginning of the beautiful Flanders Fields, with its culinary, recreational, historical, physical and human riches.
